If you have tangles in your hair, work from the ends of your hair up to the root. Work on a small section at a time and don't pull the hair; be very gentle. It is easier to detangle dry hair than wet. It's very important to thoroughly brush your hair. Brushing not only cleans the hair but also helps to distribute sebum along the hair shaft. Sebum is hair's natural conditioning and protective oil.
